During the pandemic, while I was wasting away trying to keep myself occupied with playing music, I began spending more time learning to build a better pedalboard and retain as much of my guitar tone as possible. This eventually led to my first purchase of a soldering iron and learning to build high quality patch cables and instrument cables for myself, and soon after, friends began to reach out about having me build them cables as well.

Through experimenting with different jacks, I ended up discovering the Neutrik Silent Plug, which was a gamechanger when playing live and at home. No more buzzing while plugging and unplugging new pedals or guitars. What a relief! These jacks became a must have for me for every gig and practice session. I started Sooks Audio to help get these out to all musicians all across the country.
